First Tee – South Central Wisconsin is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to impact the lives of young people and their families by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.
At First Tee – South Central Wisconsin, we believe in building game changers. Through golf and life skills education, we equip young people with the tools they need to face life’s challenges with confidence and integrity.
We envision a community where all children, regardless of background, have the opportunity to pursue their dreams and work toward a brighter future. Our programs focus on personal growth, academic support, and mentorship, guiding participants toward high school graduation, college readiness, internships, and employment opportunities. By seamlessly integrating golf instruction with life skills education, we create learning experiences that foster inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience.
In 2024, we moved into the John Flesch Golf & Academic Center, our new home located at 2819 Royal Ave., Madison, WI. This facility enhances our ability to serve the community by providing classrooms, meeting spaces, Trackman golf simulators, and indoor turf practice areas, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our participants to learn, play, and grow.
Children 6-18 can participate in programs offered by the First Tee – South Central Wisconsin at all of our locations.
