PGA TOUR First Tee Foundation, Inc. (“First Tee Headquarters”) is a separate nonprofit organization. We may share information with First Tee Headquarters and authorized service providers when reasonably necessary for program administration, compliance, technology, reporting, or other legitimate organizational purposes as described in this Privacy Policy. When we refer to “your information,” this may include personal information about you and, if applicable, your dependent.
Please review this Privacy Policy carefully. This Privacy Policy identifies the types of information we may collect through the Site and Manual Services and describes how that information may be used, protected, retained, and disclosed. - Username & password

- Dependent’s allergies, disabilities and dietary restrictions
- Information about your interests in and use of various products, programs and services

We use personal information only for legitimate organizational purposes, such as administering programs and events, providing requested services, supporting participant safety, processing transactions, improving our services, communicating with you, satisfying First Tee requirements, and complying with applicable law. Participation in optional surveys, contests, profiles, or similar activities is voluntary. Where information is required for a requested program, service, or activity, you may choose not to provide it, but we may be unable to provide that program, service, or activity.

From time to time, we (and our service providers) may also collect information such as the pages of the Site that you visit, your search keywords, your operating system version, IP address and type of browser you are using, or other such information. The information we collect enables us to run Site usage tools and create statistics about our Site. These statistics help us to better understand how our Site is being used and what we can do to make it more useful to visitors and users. We may also collect information about your computer or software to alert you of any technical or compatibility deficiencies that may disrupt your use of the Site or any services offered through the Site.
Note that if you link from our Site for purposes of purchasing or using certain products or services, you will be traveling to other sites operated by other entities with different privacy policies, and the information you provide on those sites is not governed by this Privacy Policy. Use of Information Provided.
- Marketing Purposes. We may use this information, such as your name, address, telephone number, and/or email address, to contact you and send you information about us, our affiliates, and third party goods, services, and promotions in which we believe you may be interested. We may disclose your information to our agents and service providers who help us contact you for these purposes. In addition, we may disclose your information (except your mobile information collected for SMS programs) to our affiliates for their use in contacting you about products, services and promotions in which we believe you might be interested. All of the foregoing uses are referred to below as “Marketing Purposes.” You have the opportunity to opt out of allowing us to use your information for these Marketing Purposes as explained below in the paragraph entitled “Opt Out”. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates, both internal and external.
- Targeted Advertising. We, our third party service providers, advertisers or our partners may also use “web beacons” or clear gifs, tags and scripts, or similar technologies, which are small pieces of code placed on a web page, to monitor the behavior and collect data about the visitors viewing a web page. For example, web beacons may be used to count the users who visit a web page or to deliver a cookie to the browser of a visitor viewing that page. We, our third party service providers, and our partners, with our permission based on the consent you have provided, may share this data with third parties for purposes of third parties offering targeted advertisements and other marketing to you. Furthermore, when you use our website and enter your email address on our website or at one of our events (either to log in, or to sign up for a newsletter, or similar), we may share with a third party vendor, information that we collect from you, such as your email (in hashed, pseudonymous form). Our third party vendor uses this information to create an online identification code that we may store in our first-party cookie for our use in online, in-app, and cross-channel advertising. This may be shared with advertising companies to enable interest-based and targeted advertising. Our third party vendor uses this information to create an online identification code for the purpose of recognizing you on your devices. This code does not contain any of your directly identifiable personal data and will not be used by our third party vendor to re-identify you. To opt out of this use of your information, click here.
- To Comply With Your Requests and Orders. We may use and disclose information to authorized service providers to the extent reasonably necessary to fulfill your request, register you or your dependent for a program or event, process a donation or payment, provide requested information or services, or complete another authorized transaction. Depending on the service, this may include sharing contact, registration, delivery, or transaction information with payment processors, technology providers, mailing or fulfillment providers, First Tee Headquarters, or other vendors performing services for the Chapter. Service providers may use the information only as permitted by their agreements with us, their applicable privacy terms, and law.
- Short Message Services (SMS): We may make available a service through which you can receive messages on your wireless device via short message service (“SMS Service”). We will use the information we obtain in connection with our SMS Service for the purpose of sending the SMS messages. You understand that your wireless carrier’s standard rates apply to these messages. Your wireless carrier and other service providers may also collect data about your wireless device usage, and their practices are governed by their own policies. SMS Service consent and phone numbers will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. You may also opt-out by submitting a request described in the section “Access to and Correction or Deletion of Personal Information Maintained About You/Ability to Opt Out of Further Contacts.” For more information on SMS, please refer to the Telephone/Messaging Terms of Use.
- Data Aggregation. We may aggregate your information with the information of others so that you cannot reasonably be identified and we may use and disclose such statistical information for any purpose.
- Site Analytics. We may use your information to help improve the operation of our Site, such as to diagnose problems with our server, to administer our Site, and to communicate with you with respect to your use of the Site, including, without limitation, to respond to e-mails from you.
- Organizational Transaction or Restructuring. We may transfer information in connection with a merger, reorganization, dissolution, or transfer of substantially all of the Chapter's assets or operations, subject to applicable law and appropriate privacy protections.
- Legal Compliance. We may use and disclose information that we have gathered from you or that you have provided to us if: (i) we believe that any law or regulation requires us to do so, (ii) to respond to a subpoena or governmental request; (iii) we deem it advisable or necessary to protect our safety, rights or property, or that of our employees, agents, affiliates, customers, other users of this Site, or others; (iv) to respond to a possible violation of this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Use, any law or regulation; and/or (v) to enforce this Privacy Policy and/or our Terms of Use.
Securing Your Information.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we maintain. These safeguards may include access controls, unique passwords, multi-factor authentication where appropriate, encryption, security updates, staff training, and other measures intended to reduce unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. No method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. Standard email may not be encrypted end-to-end, so you should avoid sending highly sensitive information by email unless the Chapter has directed you to an appropriate secure method. Suspected data-security incidents are handled in accordance with the Chapter's incident-response procedures.
Data Retention.
Personal information and organizational records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for legitimate organizational purposes and in accordance with the Chapter's records-retention schedule, applicable law, First Tee requirements, contractual obligations, and any litigation hold. Records are securely destroyed or de-identified when retention is no longer required or appropriate.
Children’s Privacy
Protecting children's personal information is especially important to the Chapter. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under age 13 except with the required parent or guardian consent. Parents and guardians may provide personal information about children under 13 for program registration, participation, safety, administration, and other authorized Chapter purposes. Any additional children's privacy notice or consent process provided by First Tee or the Chapter also applies where relevant.

Our Site may from time to time include links to other websites operated by other entities. Each of those links takes you to a website operated by another entity and those websites will have different privacy policies. When traveling to other websites, please take the time to check the applicable privacy policy of that website before you submit any personal information. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of or activities on such other websites.
Cookies.
We use browser session cookies, which are temporary cookies that are erased from your device’s memory when you close your internet browser or turn off your computer, and persistent cookies, which are stored on your device until they expire, unless you delete them before such expiration. The Site utilizes two groups of browser cookies:
- Required cookies: These cookies are necessary to enable the functionality of the Site’s basic features, such as allowing images to load or allowing you to select your cookie preferences.
- Functional cookies: These cookies allow us to analyze your use of the Site to review and improve how the Site operates. They may also be used to provide a better customer experience on the Site. For example, remembering your log-in details or providing us information about how you have previously used the Site.
- The Site does not currently use advertising cookies and does not share personal information with advertisers for targeted advertising.
Do Not Track.
We do not respond to Do Not Track signals at this time.
Children Under 13.
The Site is not directed to children under age 13 for independent use. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 except with the required parent or guardian consent. Parents and guardians may submit information about their children under 13 through the Site for program registration, participation, safety, administration, and other authorized purposes. Children age 13 or older should use the Site and provide personal information only with the supervision or permission of a parent or guardian, as appropriate.
