Madison Learning CenterS Open doors: Madison's community schools initiative is up and running for students and families The First Tee is back to after-school this semester with programs at our Learning Centers at VitenseCherokee Country Club and Nine Springs Golf Course. In an effort to better serve our participants academic needs, the First Tee formed a partnership with Renaissance Learning, a Wisconsin Rapids based software curriculum provider.  Renaissance is in 40,000 schools world-wide, and the program gives each student unique attention and quick feedback to help them meet their goals in reading and math.  The software lets us know an individual student's grasp of his or her math and reading skills right away. Then, we can determine the next best step in their academic journey. The students in our program use iPads that were generously paid for by the Technology Education Foundation. This new approach along with golf and life skill instruction from Coach Brad continues to provide a unique learning environment for our young people.
