Our Mission
The mission of First Tee – South Central Wisconsin is to impact the lives of young people and their families by providing educational programs for youth that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.
2022 Programming Sponsorship Opportunities
Learning Center Sponsorship:
(3-5 Year Commitment)
First Tee – South Central Wisconsin currently hosts four Learning Center sites throughout the state of Wisconsin (three of which are in the Greater Madison area). Our Learning Centers serve as a place of respite for so many of our community’s youth, providing mentors, tutors, and a safe space where we provide academic remediation programming while teaching life skills through the game of golf. Wisconsin has the worst achievement gap in the nation and it has continued to widen over the past decade. The after-school program has two 12-week semester sessions (Spring/Fall) where we focus on academic remediation through math and literacy, while also teaching kids life skills through the game of golf. We also provide water, drinks, healthy snacks and evening meal for all participants.
2019 Statistics:
Results from FTSCW’s Learning Center Program in 2019:
- Over 85% of participants identified as persons of color
- Over 47% of participants improved their reading skills by 1.5 grade levels
- Over 90% of participants saw noticeable academic improvements
- Over 60% of participants reported to have improved behavior at home and in school
- Throughout the state of Wisconsin, First Tee programming reached 17,594 youth
Green Grass Sponsorship:
(3-5 Year Commitment)
First Tee’s Green Grass Program connects kids with our professional golf coaches who teach golf lessons and unique programming to more than 1000 kids. Programming is held at all City of Madison golf courses, along with courses in Wisconsin Rapids, New Glarus, Edgerton, and Reedsburg. We provide financial assistance for all qualifying participants and golf equipment for all students. Students follow First Tee curriculum, which incorporates our nine core values into the game of golf.
Community Partners
First Tee’s Community Partners are the heartbeat of our organization, allowing us to provide programming for youth and maintain a healthy organization. By making a commitment to First Tee, community partners receive exposure in all of our marketing materials and media outlets.
Partner logos are included year-round on our website, newsletters, and marketing materials. Community partners have first choice in sponsorship opportunities and can choose to sponsor events that align most closely with their giving efforts to meet the minimum commitment.
2022 Event Sponsorship Opportunities
Partnership benefits include exposure in all marketing materials associated with the event including handouts/ brochures, newsletters, website, and social media advertising. Naming rights will be given to the presenting sponsor of each event.
Girls Golf Day
Wednesday, May 11th, 2022
Location: Vitense Golfland
Our annual golf outing draws more than 130 influential business leaders in Southern Wisconsin. All Golf Outing Sponsorships include a foursome, signage at the event, sponsor logos included in the Golf Genius App all day, and exposure in all marketing materials associated with the event.
Girls Golf Day Sponsorship Opportunities:
Supporting Sponsor (five opportunities available) – includes signage at one of five stations, in-person tabling opportunity with option of giveaway items, company name on website’s event page, name recognition in all media associated with the event, shared social media post featuring event sponsors with tag, item to include in the swag bag
Healthy Habit Sponsor (five opportunities available) – includes signage at one of five stations, name printed in all media associated with the event, shared social media post featuring event sponsors with tag, optional item to contribute to swag bag
Humana Healthy Habits Golf Outing

This golf tournament is an opportunity for First Tee kids that have participated in Summer golf programming and Learning Center programming to participate in a tournament setting. Healthy snacks, water, and lunch will be provided.
