Get ready to compete in the Bracket Challenge!
The bracket challenge is a fun and competitive double-elimination golf tournament played on Trackman simulators at the John Flesch Golf & Academic Center.
Teams of two will square off in a 9-hole scramble match play format (with 18-hole championship and consolation finals), all while enjoying a unique bracket-style competition that keeps the excitement going through every round.
With great prizes, friendly rivalries, and proceeds helping to support First Tee youth programs, this is your chance to test your game and make a difference in the lives of kids in our community.
Cost
- $400/team (teams of two)
- Must sign up as a team.
- Any combination of male/female.
Prizes (based on full 16 team field)
- 1st – $1600 / team
- 2nd – $800 / team
- Consolation – $800 / team
Format
- 9-hole gross match play 2-person scramble (championship match and consolation matches are 18-holes)
- Double elimination bracket style.

- To pay, click below and from the PayPal drop down box select “Bracket Challenge.”
Facility Use
- All matches will be played at the First Tee- SCW John Flesch Golf and Academic Center. Located at 2819 Royal Ave., Madison, WI 53713
- All matches will be played on Trackman simulators.
- Hours and time frame must be approved by FTSCW staff due to programming and staff availability.
- Suggested/preferred use time:
- Monday – Before 11:30am – After 3:30pm
- Tuesday – Before 1:45pm – After 5:15pm
- Wednesday – Before 12:00pm – After 5:15pm
- Thursday – Before 12:45pm – After 4:30pm
- Friday – Anytime
- *Match must start before 6:00pm
- Please note: Alcohol is not permitted on the property out of respect for the youth who regularly use the facility.
Match Schedule – Completion dates
- Round 1 – November 30, 2025
- Round 2 – December 31, 2025
- Round 3 – January 31, 2026
- Championship & Consolation – February 28, 2026
- If the match is not played by the completion date, the match winner will be determined by coin flip.
