Why Golf?

Experiences are our greatest teacher. First Tee believes in developing the ones that are just as fun as they are meaningful, where kids feel excited to grow, safe to fail, and better equipped for whatever comes their way next. Through our personal growth and junior golf programs, we see kids’ build self confidence, inspiring more active participation in leadership opportunities and events, community involvement, and college scholarships.

Homeschool Program

A unique program combining golf, academics, and character growth. 

Our program is designed specifically for homeschool students, providing a well-rounded experience that goes beyond traditional classroom learning. We integrate character development, academic enrichment, and the game of golf into an engaging, supportive environment where youth can grow both on and off the course.

Academic Year Golf Instruction

In addition to the 10-week homeschool golf and academic program, we offer a golf-specific option for those looking for more dedicated golf instruction. This program is $100 per participant and runs 10 weeks, with sessions taking place from 12:30pm-1:30pm on Wednesdays. Further details click the registration button below.

Summer Program Highlights

This summer, participants can stay active, build character, and learn real-life money skills with our Skills & Character Golf Class!

Each week, your child will:

  • Spend 45 minutes in the swing center, completing fun challenges to earn “FT Dollars” for effort, honesty, and sportsmanship.
  • Spend 15 minutes in the classroom, deciding how to save, spend, or invest their earnings.
  • Explore core values like respect, honesty, perseverance, and confidence while learning skills that go beyond golf.

When: Wednesdays, 1:30–2:30pm

Dates: June 17, 24; July 8, 15, 22, 29; August 5 (No class July 1)

Cost: $75

This program is a fun, hands-on way for homeschoolers to develop golf skills, practice financial literacy, and grow in character, all in one engaging hour each week.
